Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education

Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center at the Permian Basin residency and fellowship programs are accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), which established national standards for programs and regularly inspects those programs for assurances of compliance. All TTUHSC programs currently enjoy the highest level of accreditation possible. The programs also operate under campus level governance according to the Housestaff Policies and Procedures, which are updated annually to assure the welfare of physicians-in-training.
