Since 1978, the TTUHSC School of Medicine in Amarillo has trained medical students and residents with particular emphasis in clinical care. More than 100 medical students and 100 residents receive training on the Amarillo campus each year.

Because of superior bed-side teaching, a high faculty-to-student ratio, and a wide range of clinical facilities, our student and resident educational experiences are highly rated.

Research in Amarillo includes NIH-funded investigators in cancer immunology. Faculty participate in many multicenter clinical trials in cancer treatment. Our Clinical Research Unit allows students and residents to collaborate with faculty and to prepare abstracts and case reports.
