Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

The EAP is a helping resource for employees whose employer contracts with us to provide this benefit. Employees are eligible for free, confidential counseling sessions per contract year. These sessions can be utilized by the employee, the employee’s spouse or partner, and/or the employee’s minor children (under 18 or still in high school). Our Counselors are licensed and have the knowledge and experience to assist you.

Counseling is available for a variety of issues:

  • Depression
  • Excessive stress or anxiety
  • Healing from trauma
  • Workplace issues
  • Grief and loss
  • Better couple communication
  • Managing family conflict
  • Alcohol and drug abuse

In-person or telehealth counseling is available. The in-person visits are provided at the Counseling Center at TTUHSC, which is located in the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, 4th Street and Indiana in Lubbock. Directions are provided when you make an appointment.  Click here for a printable brochure.
