Future Healthcare Professionals' Experience

Future Healthcare Professionals’ Experience (FHPE) is an annual event hosted by the TTUHSC Office of Student Life and representatives from the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, Jerry H. Hodge School of Pharmacy, School of Health Professions, School of Medicine, School of Nursing, and the Julia Jones Matthews School of Population of Public Health with support from the Office of the President.

FHPE is a free event for high school and college students, college advisors, and parents, as well as anyone interested in pursuing a health sciences related career. We provide informational sessions and activities for everyone to learn about the different opportunities there are within each of the schools at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. Each year the program begins with a skit created and performed by students from TTUHSC. The skit shows attendees how healthcare professionals collaborate to assist patients throughout their treatment. Trauma Drama skit from 2024 FHPE
