Welcome to the Public Health Career Support website! Our goal is to fully support you in your future career in the field of public health. You will find many available resources on our website, including information about the Certified Public Health (CPH) exam, public health positions, public health organizations, and open positions. You also have the option to meet directly with an MPH faculty member for career support.
Katherine Wells, MPH, is the director of the Department of Public Health for the City of Lubbock. Mrs. Wells discusses her position and offers career advice to TTUHSC MPH students and alumni. We are pleased to work closely with Mrs. Wells in the field of public health, and we hope that this video will provide some insight to TTUHSC students and alumni into the field of public health.

The Certified Public Health (CPH) exam administered by the National Board of Public Health Examiners (NBHE) is an option available to students of the TTUHSC MPH program, as well as alumni of the program. The TTUHSC MPH program has achieved accreditation status from the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH) through 2023, making TTUHSC MPH students and alumni eligible to take the CPH exam. Successful completion of the CPH exam will enhance a student's academic background in public health, also being valuable for professional job opportunities in the field of public health.
