• Ensuring the safety of trial participants, research sponsors, investigators and research staff is paramount to TTUHSC.

• Principal investigators are responsible for aligning research to be consistent with the parameters of the university’s operational phase guidelines as well as with applicable FDA, CDC and TTUHSC guidance.

• Research team members and students have returned to campus as directed by the principal investigators.

• All university safety protocols must be followed, with special attention to appropriately wearing personal protective equipment and limiting occupancy in labs to allow for physical distancing.

• Study participants/patients must adhere to strict protocols regarding hand hygiene when on campus.
