TTUHSC Community,

Thank you for your efforts as we work together to support our university while making the required transition to reduce our on-campus workforce. As mentioned in the messages from Chancellor Tedd Mitchell and myself yesterday, our intent is to minimize unnecessary contact as part of the public health solution to COVID-19 while continuing to support our great university.

Please review the memo from Chancellor Mitchell, which outlines the operational phases across the TTU System during COVID-19 pandemic. On Wednesday, March 18, we will begin the transition to Phase III Operations - defined as Continued Operations with Limited On-Campus Presence during the COVID-19 pandemic.

To guide our efforts, Human Resources has published specific information on the website. Included in this information will be tools to assist supervisors in clarifying who is expected to work from home or on campus during this time; the necessary paperwork that may be needed to complete work from home; and resources to assist in effective leadership and teamwork while working remotely.

Please join Chief People Officer Steve Sosland and me at

10:00 am Tuesday, March 17

for a virtual town hall to address questions about our transition.

Watch for an invitation that will be shared Tuesday morning.

Understanding that it may take time to transition to working remotely, please be as flexible as possible in working through this process. Moving forward, we will be reviewing the operations phase every two weeks and will update team members accordingly. TTUHSC's COVID-19 webpage will continue to be our primary source of information and updates related to university operations. Please continue to visit the website for ongoing updates as well as resources that may be available to you.

I am truly grateful for your continued work and service to our great university. Please know your safety remains our top priority. Thank you for pulling together as ONE TEAM.

Warmest regards,
