Students for Veterans Health (SVH)
The Students for Veterans Health (SVH) is a registered Student Veterans of America (SVA) chapter at TTUHSC. The group is composed of military-connected students and supporters focusing on:
* Promote the education, camaraderie, training, and support for students interested in the fields of military medicine, hospital care, and entrepreneurship
* Educate students about serving in the military and their communities, and how military training can be integrated into civilian practices
* Provide comprehensive online support to keep them connected and updated to available opportunities
* Provide helpful resources and support for veterans and their dependents at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center that have past, current, or future service in the military
* Collaborate with Texas Tech University and related local community organizations to establish community-wide education and support
* Arrange fundraising events in collaboration with Texas Tech University, Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, and TTUHSC Veterans Resource Center to help veterans with their financial goals.
