Improving Health
The third component to the TTUHSC mission is community service and outreach–encompasses aspects of education, patient care, and research. Rather than focusing on the individuals' medical care, this goal is to address community needs and reduce requirements for future health care.
There are many outreach efforts ongoing at the Health Sciences Center, some targeted to very specific population segments and others developed to be models for improving the health of communities around the region and the nation.
