Pioneer Pathway Opportunities
Pioneer Pathway students will have the opportunity to:
- Be a part of an ACPE accredited PharmD program without having to relocate
- Have didactic coursework delivered through a combination of synchronous and asynchronous
online formats
- Engage face-to-face weekly with professors and classmates
- Complete immersion experiences on the Amarillo campus during years 1-2
- Join their campus of choice in year 3
- Form their professional identity through service and career development opportunities
This alternate pathway is currently under review by the American Council for Pharmacy
Education as a substantive programmatic change. Pending approval by ACPE, the Pioneer
Pathway anticipates admission of an inaugural cohort of 24 students to begin the program
in Fall 2024.
