Biography

Elizabeth "Beth" Daugherity completed her Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemistry from Abilene Christian University, Abilene, Texas in 2001. She joined the Graduate Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences as a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) student in August of 2019, and is presently working in the laboratory of Dr. Devin Lowe with the Department of Immunotherapeutics and Biotechnology in Abilene.

Research Interests:

Beth is particularly interested in identifying the mechanisms, potential biomarkers and treatment targets for Lymphangioleiomyomatosis (LAM), a rare lung disease almost exclusively affecting women.
