All students of the TTUHSC School of Nursing (SON) are expected to adhere to the Code of Professional Conduct. These guiding rules and regulations are present to foster a sense of community and respect among all members of the Institution. Academic Integrity

All students are expected to subscribe to an honor system which is implicit in accepting admission to TTUHSC. TTUHSC School of Nursing students are expected to adhere to the TTUHSC Code of Professional Conduct as well as the American Nurses Association (ANA) Code for Nurses in their professional conduct. Nursing students who hold a professional license are also expected to adhere to the state rules regarding professional conduct. All students are expected to abide by the rules set forth by the Institution and the School of Nursing. Students must obey federal, state, and local laws, as would any other citizen. When the Institution delegates judicial and disciplinary responsibilities to faculty or student groups, students must abide by the decision of these groups.

  • Cheating
  • Plagiarism
  • Falsifying academic records
  • Misrepresenting facts; and
  • Any act designed to give unfair academic advantage to the student or the attempt to commit such an act.

Each student is responsible for becoming familiar with the various regulations of the Institution. Each student, in accepting an offer of admission, indicates a willingness to subscribe to and be governed by the rules and regulations of the Institution and likewise be responsible for his/her own integrity.
