Circulation

  • General Collection materials circulate for two week periods
  • General Collection materials may be renewed twice for additional two week periods
  • Audiovisual materials circulate for varying periods Borrowed items may be renewed by telephone (915-545-6650)
  • Overdue items may not be renewed
  • Maximum 12 items
  • Journals and Reference materials do not circulate
  • Overdue General Collection or Audiovisual items accrue fines at $.50 per day for each item
  • Overdue Reserve Collection items accrue fines at $.50 per hour for each item
  • For lost items, the borrower is responsible for the replacement cost of the item plus a $25.00 processing fee and all accrued overdue fines
  • Borrowing privileges are suspended for overdue items and unpaid fines

Reference Service

A reference librarian is available to assist patrons Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Photocopying Service

All photocopying is done using debit cards. Photocopy debit cards are available in increments of 50.

  Self Service Copies $ .10 per page
  Photocopy Service $ .25 per page
  Rush Photocopy Service $ .50 per page

If sufficient library staff is available, journals from a supplied list can be pulled for library users.

Other Services

  • Personal computers accessible to eligible borrowers
  • Laser printing is available for $.10 per page for black and white for $.25 per page for color
  • CD-Recordable disks and 1.44 MB floppy disks are available for $1.00 per disk
  • Scanners accessible to eligible borrowers
  • Telefacsimile transmission/receiving for a fee
