Microsoft Office 2000 Professional Installation

  1. Insert the Microsoft Office CD 1, and follow the instructions on the screen. When prompted for the license code, enter the one provided.
  2. FrontPage 2000 must be installed separately. Insert FrontPage CD 1 to install it. Follow the instructions on the screen.

Windows 98 Upgrade Installation (Faculty/Staff only)

  1. If you are running Windows 95 and would like to upgrade to Windows 98, insert the Windows 98 Upgrade CD, and follow the instructions on the screen. When prompted for the license code, enter the one provided to you.

Visual Studio 6.0 Installation (Faculty/Staff only)

  1. Insert Visual Studio CD 1, and follow the instructions on the screen. When prompted for the license code, enter the one provided to you.
  2. The Visual Studio installation will prompt you for the install of the MSDN Library software. Insert CD 1 of the MSDN Library when prompted, and follow the instructions on the screen.
  3. Visual J++ must be installed separately. Insert the Visual J++ CD, and follow the instructions on the screen. When asked for the license code, enter the same code you entered in Step 1. This installation will also ask you to install the MSDN Library. If you installed it in Step 2, you don't have to do it again.
  4. Once all the Visual Studio software is installed, you will need to install the Visual Studio Service Pack 3. Insert the CD, and follow the instructions on the screen.
