About the Clinical Research Institute

Promoting Patient-Orientated Research is one of the driving factors of the TTUHSC Clinical Research Institute. The Institute was established in October 2010 with the assigned mission to facilitate the conduct of clinical research by TTUHSC faculty.

Our vision is improve the quality of healthcare in Texas through clinical, epidemiologic, and educational research activities; provide formalized clinical research education; promote studies involving multi-school interactivity; and obtain epidemiologic information critical to understanding health problems in our region.

  • There is a burgeoning interest in big data and data mining. The CRI is pleased to provide a preliminary review of some software that may be of interest to you. We realize that the list is not comprehensive but has been classified according to ease of use. We encourage you to look at this area of research which is rapidly evolving. TheCRI appreciates the opportunity to share this with you. We urge interested parties to perform their own due diligence prior to purchase and use of any software to ensure it meets their needs.

  • Per the HSC OP 01.02 Guidelines for the Establishments and Review of Institutes and Centers, the Clinical Research Institute (CRI) 2010-2016 Sunset Report was reviewed in February 2017. Subsequently, the CRI was approved to continue as an Institute for another 6 years. A huge "Thank You" to the contributors and staff for an excellent report. View the 2010-2016
