GRACE After School Program
GRACE AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM IS BEST DESCRIBED AS TEACHING BY MOTIVATING, MENTORING, AND SHARING OF EXPERIENCES.
WE PROUDLY ANNOUNCE THAT OUR NEW SPONSOR OF GRACE FOR 2009-2010 IS UNIVERSITY MEDICAL CENTER (UMC).

Pulling together individuals with diverse backgrounds, talents, experiences, and interests, while encouraging students to step up to responsibility and continued achievement is important to CIMA. We are proud to have a partnership with Lubbock Independent School District/Community in Schools and Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center medical students and for the first time, nursing students.
The Lubbock schools participating for 2009-2010 will be Atkins Middle School, OL Slaton Middle School, Alderson Middle School, and Dunbar Math and Science Academy.
The purpose of GRACE is to raise student awareness at underrepresented and/or educationally disadvantaged background schools of the opportunities in higher education towards health profession, while teaching of medically related topics.
