Biomedical Sciences PhD - Application Instructions

Applicants must enter each research experience in the following areas: academic year (undergraduate), summer internships, and post-undergraduate. Do not enter experiences associated with a class, for example an organic chemistry lab course. Be as accurate as possible. If you are unsure where to place an experience, use your best judgement. If you have more than one type of a particular level experience, for example two summer internships, applicants must click the Add Research Experience button to add the additional summer internship experience or any other additional research experiences.

Required supplemental items are applied to an application AFTER application submission. Log into your BioRaider.com account and scroll down to see the supplemental items and status of those items. All required supplemental items must be received before an application is considered complete. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed.

Students in the Biomedical Sciences Ph.D. program begin as undeclared, complete the core curriculum and rotate in faculty labs prior to selecting a mentor and concentration. It is not necessary to contact faculty prior to beginning the program, and correspondence with faculty is no guarantee of admission. Information regarding steps through the first year of the program and mentor/concentration is available here.
